Margaret Jurd College is a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). The principal objective of the College, as set out in its Constitution, is the development and delivery of services, programs and facilities to provide, on the basis of need and irrespective of race, religion, gender, philosophy, cultural background or other diversity, a high level of care, education and welfare for young people who are excluded from mainstream education.
The College relies on the charitable donations of community organisations and individuals to provide the extras that make the difference. This is how we fund our educational resources and material aid support provided to students. It is the ability to provide clothing to students in need and food hampers to families that adds to the students ability to maintain their schooling.
