is a heartwarming way to spend your time in the lead up to the festive season. You can help bring joy to our students, and their families, by filling Christmas hampers with treats and necessities.
College supplies
such as classroom and learning materials, transport maintenance and other essential items and services that ensure our young people can attend campus daily, fully prepared to learn.

Fill our christmas hampers
Young people in the community look forward to Christmas, but there is a lot of research to suggest that family traditions, such as the festive season, can operate as a huge defence against a young person developing trauma responses.
The College attempts to provide a Christmas hamper to families who need it, to take the stress out of the silly season. The hampers can include things like a leg of ham, dips and spreads, and a few festive treats that are sometimes exactly what is needed. It also makes sure that the sense of excitement for the holidays is long-lasting, as is the connection to the College Community.
Dress them for success
To date, we have received many generous donations from several organisations and individual professionals. As we hope to run this program long-term, a donation of business-ready clothes is always appreciated, and any clothes that aren’t utilised during this program are available to our young people for our end-of-year celebration night.
Cover a young person’s tuition
At MJC we charge a very small amount of fees, however, we know times can get financially tough.
By donating to the Fee Waiver initiative, the community assists by allowing the College to waive a young person’s tuition fees, whilst also maintaining the high standard of service delivery that we have become known for.
Build the pathways fund for graduates of mjc
The Pathways Fund is administered by a committee and can be used to help with anything from Driving Lessons to study books or workplace tools and equipment.
By donating to this cause, you will help grow the Pathways Fund to provide even more opportunities to young people in the community.
Provide healthy meals
A hungry student is unable to effectively engage in learning as their basic needs have not been met. By providing three meals per day for each student, we are ensuring that all of our students are fuelled and ready to learn each day.
This program is always available for our students; it is not entirely dependent on donations. However, donations to this cause will allow MJC to redistribute previously allocated school funding to other areas, including crucial classroom resources.
Businesses can contribute to specific programs or connect directly with us to support a cause that aligns with their values. Whether donating to a particular community or focusing on a campus-specific initiative, your support helps make a lasting impact.
